Due to the current COVID-19 situation affecting our country and in solidarity with our fellow citizens, especially the residents of La Gomera, Escuintla, Top Green donated plantain to the Municipality of La Gomera and to our senior citizens (of “Años Dorados La Gomera” nursing home in the department of Escuintla).  This is a healthy food that can be cooked several different ways.

We are also proud of the donation that, together with APIB (Association of Independent Banana Producers), we were able to raise for an amount of Q2,300,000.00 (approx. $300,000.00) that was donated to the Government of Guatemala for construction and equipment of the Hospital in Xela (Quetzaltenango) and the Hospital at Parque de la Industria (Guatemala City) in order to help patients affected by COVID-19.

We are certain that as a country we will make it through this and, as a Guatemalan company, we are and will continue to be committed to helping our country!
